Kuala Lumpur: 3-Day Private Tour with Fireflies & Blue Tears

Day 1: Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur

Begin with pickup from your hotel or accommodation within the Kuala Lumpur city area and travel to Putrajaya. Visit the beautiful Putra Mosque, also known as the Pink Mosque, overlooking Putrajaya Lake. Continue to Perdana Putra, the Prime Minister’s Office, and stop at the striking Seri Wawasan Bridge for photos.

Continue to Kuala Lumpur for a city sightseeing tour covering the King’s Palace, National Monument, Kuala Lumpur Botanical Garden, Old FMS Railway Office, Merdeka Square, National Mosque, Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Chocolate Factory, Batik Factory, Petronas Twin Towers, and KL Tower. Later, enjoy a Kuala Lumpur Night Tour and experience the city illuminated after dark before returning to your accommodation.

Day 2: Batu Caves and Genting Highlands

Visit the famous Batu Caves. See the towering Lord Murugan statue, admire the colorful staircase, and climb the 272 steps to explore the main temple cave. Continue to Genting Highlands and enjoy the included Genting cable ticket. Spend free time exploring the resort area, shopping, dining, or enjoying the cooler mountain atmosphere before returning to Kuala Lumpur.

Day 3: Kuala Selangor

Travel to Kuala Selangor. Visit Melawati Hill, where you can see the Altingsburg Lighthouse, historic Dutch ruins, scenic viewpoints, and silvered leaf monkeys. Continue to Shree Shakthi Devasthanam Temple, known for its detailed South Indian-style architecture and granite carvings.

In the evening, head to Kampung Kuantan Fireflies Park for a boat ride to witness fireflies glowing among the mangrove trees. Continue with the Blue Tears experience, where naturally occurring bioluminescent organisms may create a blue glow on the water under suitable environmental conditions. After the tour, return to Kuala Lumpur and be dropped off at the same pickup location.
