A catamaran cruise to Gunner’s Quoin, offers one of the most scenic and relaxing experiences lots of fun in the north of Mauritius.
Towering dramatically from the ocean just 8 km off the coast, this uninhabited island is a striking volcanic remnant and a protected nature reserve—making it a must-see on the horizon.
Cruise past Gunner’s Quoin, with opportunities to photograph its rugged cliffs and lush vegetation. While landing is not allowed (as it's a protected reserve), the view from sea is breathtaking.
Snorkeling stop nearby, often just off the coast of Gunner’s Quoin, in crystal-clear waters teeming with colorful reef fish and coral.(Depend the sea condition)
BBQ lunch and open bar (on most full-day cruises), served onboard or on one of the neighboring islands like Flat island or Gabriel Island .

Pigeon House Rock and Flat island
It is a small uninhabited rock islet just north of Île Plate (Flat Island), off the northern coast of Mauritius.The islet is part of the Islets National Park system, under protection.Enjoy the beautiful beach of flat island also
Ecology & Wildlife
It’s named Pigeon Rock/Rocher aux Pigeons because seabirds nest there. Species include terns, possibly noddies, etc.
The islet is important for breeding seabirds; estimates from conservation plans show many breeding pairs on Pigeon House Rock.
Some native reptiles may occur in the wider nearby islets system — e.g. geckos or skinks — though because Pigeon House Rock has very steep and inaccessible terrain, detailed surveys are harder.
