First, the Geology Display: see coal samples and learn how coal formed. Then the Mining Simulation Area: compare 19th-century steam-powered tools to modern machines—staff demo how tech improved safety and efficiency.
Visit the Miner’s Life Area: sit on benches and try a simple miner’s meal (steamed buns, pickles, soup). By 4:30 p.m., return to the surface. Tour the Coal Museum (artifacts, interactive exhibits) before leaving at 5:30 p.m. Check into your hotel to rest.
Day 2 Morning: Hanging Temple
Leave the hotel at 8:00 a.m. (1-hour drive). The Hanging Temple clings to a 50m cliff, supported by thin wooden pillars—stunning from afar!
