Experience the charm of rural Nepal on a guided 2-day trip from Pokhara to Ghachok Village, a peaceful hillside settlement surrounded by stunning views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and the Annapurna range.
Your local guide will accompany you from Pokhara to Ghachok, where you’ll be welcomed by the community and introduced to daily village life. Visit the local school, meet students and teachers, and learn how traditional education works in rural Nepal. Depending on the season, you’ll have the chance to participate in simple farming or handicraft activities for a hands-on cultural experience.
As the day ends, join your hosts in preparing a traditional Nepali dinner, learning how to cook local dishes over an open fire. Spend the night in a comfortable local lodge and enjoy the warm hospitality of Ghachok villagers.
The next morning, take a guided sunrise hike to a nearby viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna range. Then, explore scenic village trails, terraced fields, and forests before returning to Pokhara.
