Snowmobile Driving Experience & Reindeer Herd Visit Combo

Embark on an adrenaline thrilled test drive on a snowmobile in a beautiful arctic landscape. Afterwards we will take you to meet the reindeer herd and enjoy a warm Sami meal in a traditional lavvo.
Start your adventure with a training session on easy-to-use snowmobiles. This excursion is designed for those going on a snowmobile adventure for the first time. We drive on a groomed trail in a wide-open area on frozen ground past small, picturesque forests. We drive in pairs (one driver and one passenger) with the option of switching places halfway. This is a perfect tour for those whom want to test out what driving a snowmobile in the arctic feels like.

After this experience, continue your journey in the snow-covered forest of Nikka. You will get the chance to visit our magical reindeer herd where we have around 30 reindeer. We will partake in feeding the reindeer and if we are lucky the reindeer will come close enough to eat from our buckets. Learn about the traditions of reindeer husbandry and Nordic culture.

Afterwards, you will gather in a lavvo (Sami’s tent) to hear fascinating stories about the Nordic way of life, their history, diversity and faith. In the glow from the fire, you get to see traditional Sami objects and taste authentic Sami food, cooked on the fire.

– All drivers must have a valid drive license, and be 18 years and up
– The minimum age for this activity is 8 years old. All guests under 18 will be passengers in the snowmobile
– Please provide the correct phone number so that we can contact you incase of any changes, updates, or incase we cannot find you at the meeting location for departure
