Oman: 14-Day Natural Wonders Group Tour

This is a 14-day group round trip. Here is the day-by-day itinerary:

Day 1 – Arrival in Muscat
Arrive in Muscat and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 – Muscat
Explore Oman’s capital, where tradition meets modernity. Visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Royal Opera House, Muttrah Souq. Enjoy views of Al Alam Palace.

Day 3 – Bimmah Sinkhole and Wadi Shab
Drive along the coastal road with scenic stops. Swim at Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural limestone crater filled with turquoise water. Continue to Wadi Shab for a hike through a canyon with date palms and cliffs, followed by swimming through pools to reach a hidden cave and waterfall.

Day 4 – Wadi Tiwi – Sur – Ras Al Jinz
Walk through Wadi Tiwi with its lush plantations and traditional villages. Visit Sur, famous for its dhow-building heritage, and explore the dhow factory. Continue along the coast to Ras Al Hadd. Optional night tour at Ras Al Jinz Turtle Sanctuary to observe nesting turtles.

Day 5 – Masirah Island
Travel by ferry to Masirah Island to explore remote beaches, see shipwreck remains, and enjoy the island’s peaceful, untouched nature.

Day 6 – Barr Al Hikman
Drive through desert landscapes to Barr Al Hikman, a unique coastal reserve. Observe migratory birds and enjoy long walks along untouched white beaches.

Day 7 – Transfer to Salalah
Continue south on a scenic drive toward Salalah. Enjoy changing landscapes from desert plains to greener surroundings.

Day 8 – Western Salalah
Discover Salalah’s western highlights. Visit Sahalnoot Spring, Mughsail Beach, and Marneef Cave with blowholes spraying seawater. Stop at Shaat viewpoint for panoramic views, then relax and swim at Fazayah Beach.

Day 9 – Eastern Salalah
Explore the eastern region, including the ancient port of Sumhuram and Khor Rori lagoon. Visit Wadi Darbat with seasonal waterfalls and green scenery. Continue to Jebel Samhan for breathtaking mountain views. Stop at Tawi Attair and Taiq sinkholes, then visit Mirbat.

Day 10 – Salalah to Misfat Al Abriyeen
Drive to the mountains to visit Misfah Al Abreen, a charming village built on a hillside. Walk through narrow pathways, traditional houses, and lush terraces supported by the ancient falaj irrigation system.

Day 11 – Bahla fort, Al Hamra and Jebel Shams
Visit Bahla Fort and Al Hamra village museum, where you’ll learn about traditional Omani life. Continue to Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest mountain.

Day 12 – Nizwa & Jebel Akhdar
Visit Nizwa Souq and its historic fort. Continue to Birkat Al Mouz village to explore old ruins and plantations. Drive up to Jebel Akhdar, known for its terraced farms, and cooler climate.

Day 13 – Wadi Bani Khalid & Desert
Swim in the clear pools of Wadi Bani Khalid and relax in the natural setting. Continue to the desert, enjoy dune driving and a spectacular sunset. Spend the evening at a desert hotel with dinner.

Day 14 – Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport or hotel in Muscat. End of the tour with unforgettable memories.
