Salalah: Rub Al Khali Overnight Desert Adventure

Day 1:: 2 day/1 night Rub al Khali tour (Ayn Sahnoot, Qara Mountains, Wadi Dawkah, Thumrait, Shisr(uber lost city) Empty quarter)

Start the tour from the hotel and visit some parts of the Qara mountains and explore the mountain. Beautiful views from the top The mountain then drives into Wadi Dawkah (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is known as the Frankincense Wadi, as it is the biggest collection of naturally grown frankincense trees in the region. On our next visit to Thumrait village, have lunch in the local restaurant and also have the opportunity to meet local Omanis who are located inside the restaurant.

After lunch, you will continue with the Bedouin guide toward the lost city of Uber (another UNESCO World Heritage Site). This legendary the ancient kingdom, known as Ubar, was said to have existed in one of the most inhospitable places on Earth - the vast and forbidding Rub al
Khali Desert, appropriately known as the Empty Quarter.

Finally, you have the opportunity to witness a beautiful sunset over the sand dunes reaching the campsite at Ramlat Al Hashmann. Arabian coffee and traditional dates are also served on arrival at the camp. Enjoy local dinner in the Desert

Day 2::Desert camping (ramlet al bardah)

You begin the day with breakfast as the sun rises over this incredible
landscape, later this morning drive through Rub Al Khali dunes, we will leave the empty quarter towards the Salalah coast, this time the route takes you through Bedouin village. drive
to Thumrait village. Lunch in a local restaurant. Back to Salalah
