This full-day private tour visits England's largest national park, the Yorkshire Dales. On this tour, you will enjoy the spectacular Dales, taking in Swaledale and Wensleydale.
Depart from the Lake District and travel from one national park to another, the famous Yorkshire Dales. From the Lake District, you will head directly to the quaint village of Sedbergh. See the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway and the spectacular viaduct.
Then, venture down into Wensleydale and Hardraw. Make a stop at England's highest single drop waterfall, Hardraw Force. Descend into Swaledale, through the valley, to the small market town of Reeth. Here, you will stop for lunch.
Your next stop is Bolton Castle, in which Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned. Then, journey up the valley to the spectacular Aysgarth Waterfalls, which is famous from a scene in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves.
Make your way to Hawes, which is home to the famous Wensleydale Creamery. Go cheese tasting here then continue the tour to the village of Dent, famous for the Dent knitters and brewery. Complete your journey back to the Lake District via the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale.
