Join a walking safari in Mosi oa Tunya NP and track endangered white rhinos on foot. Spot elephants, giraffes, Cape buffalo, zebras, and warthogs, and see hippos and Nile crocodiles in the river.
The adventure begins with an early morning OR afternoon pick-up from your lodge in an open-sided 4 x 4 safari vehicle. . As you drive in park, the first portion of the tour winds along the loops of the Zambezi River. Your guide will point out the resident wildlife, which is often found congregating near the water's edge.Elephant Crossings: You are likely to spot families of elephants, who regularly swim across the river channels from Zimbabwe into Zambia.

The Heavyweights: Keep an eye out for tall giraffes browsing the treetops, large herds of Cape buffalo, zebras, and playful families of warthogs.River Giants: Pods of hippos can be heard grunting in the currents, while massive Nile crocodiles bask on the exposed sandbanks.

Historic Stop at Old Drift Cemetery before heading back, the drive takes a brief cultural turn at the Old Drift Cemetery. Tucked near the riverbank, this historic site marks the original settlement and crossing point where the first European pioneers arrived in the area during the late 1800s.

Afterwards conclude the safari with a relaxing drive back out of the park gates and return to your lodge
