Girona: Urban Exploration and Legends Walking Tour

This city has a rich history beyond the tourist trail. Come with me as I show you some of the hidden sights in around town, from Napoleonic forts and medieval tunnels to breathtaking natural spots.
With more than 5 years of experience as an urban explorer and photographer, I would love to start sharing some of the places and history I've become in love with during these last years, as this city has so much to offer if we take just a step outside the old town.

Did you know that there's a Napoleonic star fort in Girona? Or the remains of a defensive line with tunnels and underground rooms? In this tour I will take you to some of these places that very few tourists get to see or know about, while connecting their legends and landscapes to the general history of the city and Catalunya.

I've been born and raised in the old town of Girona, so while walking between spots I will be more than happy to answer to any questions you might have about the city, its people, the country... We can even change the itinerary a bit to suit your interests while we go towards the main attraction of the tour: Castell de Montjuic.

The main attraction of the tour will be a walk to a French fortress which is rarely visited because it's a bit outside the tourist trail, one of the last true hidden gems of Girona I would say. With a fascinating history and even more fascinating views over the city, we will share a little local snack before heading back into the old town.
