Begin your adventure with a 3.5-hour drive from Johannesburg to Witsieshoek, your hotel nestled deep in the mountains. Upon arrival, unpack and embark on a short 2-hour hike in the nearby mountains. Marvel at two stunning waterfalls and get a feel for altitude hiking. Enjoy an early dinner at the hotel before heading to bed.

In the morning, catch the first shuttle at 6 AM to the start of the hike below Sentinel Peak. Experience the thrill of navigating the rugged 4x4 roads in the Drakensberg. The hike takes approximately 5 to 7 hours, depending on your fitness level. As this is a private hike, the pace is adjusted to suit your needs.

Choose between two routes to summit: the gulley or the chain ladders. Once at the top, soak in the breathtaking views that are truly food for the soul.
