Begin your adventure with a drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, including open grasslands, montane forests, and the areas surrounding the Momella Lakes. Along the way, spot giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, waterbucks, blue monkeys, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. The park is also home to many bird species, making it an excellent destination for birdwatching and photography.

Visit viewpoints overlooking Ngurdoto Crater, an extinct volcanic caldera surrounded by thick forest. Depending on your itinerary, stop at the Momella Lakes, where flamingos, herons, and other waterbirds can often be observed.
