Embark on an unforgettable 2-day journey from Djerba into the heart of southern Tunisia.
Your adventure begins with a drive toward Tozeur, crossing changing desert landscapes and salt flats. Continue to the spectacular mountain oases of Chebika and Tamerza, where waterfalls, canyons, and palm groves create a unique contrast with the surrounding desert.
You will also explore iconic Star Wars filming locations, where legendary scenes from the saga were shot in the Tunisian desert.
In the afternoon, head deeper into the Sahara for a breathtaking sunset over the dunes. Later, settle into a traditional desert camp where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night in a private or shared tent under a sky full of stars.
On day two, after breakfast in the desert, the journey continues toward Douz, known as the “gateway to the Sahara”. Then visit the troglodyte village of Matmata, famous for its underground homes and unique Berber culture.
Finally, return to Djerba with unforgettable memories of desert landscapes, oases, and authentic Tunisian heritage.
