Discover authentic Tunisian cuisine during a warm and friendly cooking class in Hammamet. Guided step by step by a passionate local host, you'll learn to prepare one of the two great classics of Tunisian cuisine with your own hands: harissa, the famous spicy chili paste, a true icon of the country's cuisine, or ojja mayou, a flavorful and hearty traditional dish. Beyond the preparation, this workshop is also a genuine opportunity to share and discuss Tunisian culinary traditions, their origins and the secrets of their preparation, passed down from generation to generation. Once your dish is ready, sit down for a convivial food tasting, accompanied by freshly made traditional breads. To extend this gourmet experience once you return home, you will be given a jar of homemade harissa at the end of the workshop.

The minimum number of participants for this workshop is 3 people.
The workshop starts at 11:00 AM and lasts between 1 and 2 hours, depending on the pace of the group.
You will choose the recipe to prepare on site: harissa or ojja mayou.
The meeting point is directly in Hammamet. Transportation is not included in the base price, but transport can be added as an optional extra during booking.
A jar of homemade harissa will be offered to you at the end of the workshop.
Comfortable clothing that can get dirty is recommended.
Meet at Dar Omi Daouda, located in El Medina, Yasmine Hammamet 8057. Your host will welcome you at the venue at the time indicated on your reservation.
