From Tunis: Sfax Overnight Trip with Hotel Stay

Start your journey in Tunis in the morning by taking a train or private car to Sfax (approx. 3–4 hours). The route offers scenic views of olive groves and rural Tunisian landscapes.

On arrival in Sfax around midday, check into your hotel and take some rest before starting sightseeing. In the afternoon, head to the historic Medina of Sfax, known for its well-preserved walls, traditional souks, and authentic local atmosphere. Walk through narrow alleys, shop for handicrafts, and experience everyday life inside the old city.

Later, visit the Kasbah of Sfax, an important historical fortress offering insight into the city’s defensive past. If time allows, stop at the Archaeological Museum of Sfax to see artifacts from different eras of Tunisian history.
