Explore Casco Bay's islands — there are over 200 of them — aboard a fully private charter from the Portland waterfront. Casco Bay Legacy Charters is a small, family-run operation, and every charter is 100% private: your boat is never shared with other guests or combined with another booking.
Your USCG-licensed captain and first mate handle all the boating so you can relax and enjoy the ride. A 2-hour charter typically covers Peaks Island and Diamond Island, while a 4-hour charter reaches further out to Eagle Island and Cliff Island. Keep an eye out for local wildlife along the way — seals, bald eagles, osprey, and harbor porpoises are all regularly spotted in the bay. Tell your captain which islands you're most interested in and they'll build the route around it.
Light snacks, soft drinks, and a cooler are included, and you're welcome to bring your own food, drinks, wine, or champagne. Charters run May through October. Choose a 2-hour or 4-hour charter for up to 6 guests, departing from one of several convenient Portland waterfront locations.

Meet at SouthPort Marine. Street parking is available on A Street and B Street near the marina. Walk to the end of B Street — the dock gate is locked, and our staff will meet you there.
