Your experience begins with an early 6:30 AM pickup from Cape Town, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes of the Western Cape as you make your way towards Hermanus.

Upon arrival, head to Hermanus New Harbour, where you will prepare for your whale-watching boat adventure. Step aboard a dedicated whale-watching vessel and head out onto the Atlantic Ocean in search of the magnificent marine life that makes this coastline so special.

During the boat trip, keep your eyes open for Southern Right whales, especially during whale season, as well as other marine life that may be encountered along the coast. Depending on the conditions and wildlife activity, you may also have the opportunity to see dolphins, seals and a variety of seabirds.

The boat trip is an exciting way to experience Hermanus from a completely different perspective. Your experienced crew will provide information about the marine environment and help you understand more about the whales and other wildlife found along the Cape Whale Coast.

After returning to Hermanus New Harbour, continue into the town centre for some relaxed free time.

Explore the charming streets and waterfront at your own pace. You can browse local shops, visit cafés and restaurants, take photographs, or simply enjoy the atmosphere of this beautiful seaside town. You can also take a leisurely walk along part of the famous Hermanus Cliff Path, where spectacular ocean views and opportunities for land-based whale watching can be enjoyed during whale season.

This part of the experience gives you time to discover Hermanus beyond the boat trip and experience the town's relaxed coastal atmosphere.

Once your town visit is complete, meet your guide and begin the scenic journey back to Cape Town.
