Next, visit the twin neighborhoods of Mangalem and Gorica. Located at the foot of the castle, Mangalem is where you’ll see the famous rows of white houses with stacked windows. Visit the King Mosque and the Halveti Tekke for stunning hand-painted ceilings. Cross the 18th-century stone Gorica Bridge to reach the Gorica Quarter. It’s quieter and offers the best photo opportunities of the Mangalem houses across the river.
Continue to Belsh, a hidden gem focused on relaxation and "slow tourism" around its karst lakes. Take a lakefront walk along the beautifully renovated promenade around the main lake. It’s perfect for a 15-minute stroll or a quick coffee at one of the lakeside terraces.
