Tour to Hornocal with a View of Purmamarca and a Ride on the Humahuaca Solar Train Hornocal Tour with View of Purmamarca and Humahuaca Solar Train Ride

On this tour, you will visit the 14 Colors Mountain in Hornocal. You will also ride the Solar Train through part of the Quebrada de Humahuaca and visit the beautiful town of Purmamarca and the Hill of 7 Colors.
We will depart from the city of Salta to enter the neighboring province of Jujuy.
The first stop will be at Purmamarca Train Station at 9:45 AM, where passengers will board the Solar Train, which departs at 10:00 AM and travels from the town of Purmamarca to Maimará Train Station. On this tour, passengers will ride the Solar Train through the beautiful landscapes and sites of the Quebrada de Humahuaca. Upon arriving at Maimará Train Station, passengers will meet the vehicle and the tour guide to continue the journey for approximately 60 km (about 1 hour) to the town of Uquia.
Once we reach the town of Uquia, passengers will transfer to another vehicle to continue the journey to the Serranías del Hornocal, covering a distance of nearly 35 km (22 miles). Upon arriving at the Lookout of 14 Colors Hill, passengers will have 30–45 minutes to appreciate the majesty of the stunning Cerro del Hornocal. After this time, we will make our way back to the town of Humahuaca, arriving at approximately 2:30 pm, where we will once again meet the vehicle and the tour guide. In the town of Humahuaca, passengers will have 1 hour of free time for lunch (they can choose where to eat based on price, location, menu, etc.).
At around 3:30 pm, we will set off for the town of Purmamarca (70 km/43 miles), arriving there at around 4:30 pm. Here, passengers will have approximately 1 hour of free time to visit the Main Square and the Artisan Market located around it.
Finally, at around 5:30 pm, we will begin our return journey to the city of Salta (a 150-kilometer (93-mile) drive taking approximately 3 hours), arriving at around 8:30 pm. The tour will end at the same meeting point where it began (Calle Caseros 420, Salta City).
