Learn to surf with a 1.5-hour lesson for beginners or returning surfers. Build confidence, improve ocean awareness, and develop strong foundational skills in a supportive environment.
Begin with a safety briefing, land-based warm-up, and technique introduction before heading into the water for hands-on coaching. Be guided through paddling, positioning, wave selection, and riding techniques appropriate to your experience level, with personalized feedback throughout the session.

Whether you’re stepping on a surfboard for the first time or getting back into the water after time away, the learner-focused coaching approach ensures you progress at a comfortable pace while developing correct technique and essential surf knowledge.

Lessons follow Surfing Australia methodology and are delivered by experienced, Surfing Australia–accredited coaches.

Bombora Surf School is First Nations owned and operated.
The school holds a Gold Coast City permit for operations.
Please meet us at the Bombora Surf School Van, parked in the Tallebudgera Surf Life Saving Club Car Park. 1509 Gold Coast Highway Palm Beach.
