Leave Doha behind and discover a different side of Qatar’s desert on a shared 4x4 expedition designed around stories, nature, and adventure.
Instead of simply crossing the dunes, your local desert guide will introduce you to the landscape itself. Learn how wind shapes and moves the dunes, how Bedouin travelers once read tracks and natural signs, and why Qatar’s desert is far from empty.
Travel through the changing desert landscape towards Khor Al Adaid, where towering dunes meet the sea. Along the way, stop to discover Qatar’s coastal sabkha, a remarkable salt-rich landscape created by evaporation and tides.
Enjoy an exciting dune drive, try sandboarding on the golden dunes, and continue towards the Inland Sea for one of Qatar’s most unusual natural views.
Listen as your guide shares simple stories about desert survival, wildlife, traditional navigation, and the relationship between Qatar’s desert and sea.
