Beschrijving

Explore Uyuni’s salt flats, colorful lagoons, geysers, and hot springs on a spectacular 5-day Andean journey from La Paz.
DAY 1 – VIP BUS TO UYUNI

Check in at the bus office in La Paz around 8:30 PM and depart at 9:00 PM. Travel overnight by VIP bus with reclining seats, Starlink Wi-Fi, heating, restroom, polar blanket, dinner, and breakfast.

DAY 2 – SALT FLATS, CACTI & SUNSET

Arrive in Uyuni early in the morning, where our local team will welcome you at the bus office. You will be accompanied to a nearby café to relax before returning to our office for check-in. Meet your driver and guide, receive a brief introduction to the route, and get ready for your 3-day Altiplano expedition.

Departure at 10:30 AM.

Train Cemetery – See historic locomotives from Uyuni’s railway past.
Colchani – Learn about salt processing and browse local handicrafts.
Uyuni Salt Flats – Visit the Saltwater Eyes, Playa Blanca, Salt Hotel Museum, Flags of the World, and Dakar Monument.
Incahuasi Island – Walk among giant cacti and enjoy panoramic views.
Perspective Photos – Capture creative optical illusion pictures.
Sunset – Enjoy the sunset with wine and chips.

Overnight: Salt hostel in Atulcha.

DAY 3 – LAGOONS & DESERTS

Breakfast at 7:00 AM before exploring the Altiplano.

Chiguana Desert & Ollagüe Volcano – Cross vast plains with views of volcanic landscapes.
Andean Lagoons – Visit Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota, home to flamingos.
Eduardo Avaroa Reserve – Explore remarkable high-altitude landscapes.
Siloli Desert & Stone Tree – Discover desert scenery and wind-shaped rock formations.
Red Lagoon – Admire Laguna Colorada and its flamingos.

Overnight: Hostel in Huayllajara or Polques, subject to availability.

DAY 4 – GEYSERS, HOT SPRINGS & RETURN

Depart at 5:00 AM.

Sol de Mañana – See steaming vents and bubbling mud pools.
Polques Hot Springs – Relax in naturally warm thermal waters.
Dalí Desert – Admire its surreal volcanic scenery.
Green & White Lagoons – Enjoy views beneath Licancabur Volcano.
Villa Mar – Stop for lunch.
Rock Valley & San Cristóbal – Explore unusual rock formations and visit the village before returning to Uyuni.

Arrival in Uyuni: Approximately 5:30–6:30 PM. Check in at the bus office around 8:30 PM and depart at 9:00 PM aboard your VIP overnight bus to La Paz.

DAY 5 – ARRIVAL IN LA PAZ

Arrive in La Paz the following morning between approximately 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM, marking the end of your 5-day journey.
