Explore three eras of Shanghai in one day: Shanghai in the Republican era at the Film Park, Shanghai in the Qing Dynasty at Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, modern Shanghai at Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street.
08:40 – Gather at the exit of Gate 14 of People’s Square Metro Station (near the KFC entrance). The location is accessible via Metro Lines 1, 2, or 8. Then, board an air-conditioned tourist bus to Shanghai Film Park.
Friendly Reminder: Luggage can be stored on the bus during the day. After visiting Zhujiajiao Ancient Town in the afternoon, you can take Metro Line 17 directly to Hongqiao Airport or Hongqiao Railway Station.
10:00 – Visit Shanghai Film Park, one of China’s top 10 film and TV bases. This iconic filming location features in famous productions such as The Bund (Huang Xiaoming), Kung Fu Hustle (Stephen Chow), and The Disguiser (Hu Ge). You may even spot a film crew or celebrities! It’s also a paradise for selfie lovers—dress in Republic of China-era costumes and stroll through 1930s-style Nanjing Road, Shikumen Scenic Area, Peace Square, Waibaidu Bridge, and the Republic of China Prison.
1:00 PM – Enjoy free time for lunch. Savor local delicacies like:
"Zha Rou" (Braised Pork) – A 1,000-year-old traditional dish.
