Arrive on the boat and receive an introductory briefing about the Pelagos Sanctuary from your expert marine biologist guide. Learn more about the sanctuary's history and conservation programs and the cetacean species that populate it, including fin whales, sperm whales, Cuvier’s beaked whales, bottlenose dolphins, and more.
Set sail on the open sea and reach some of the most favorable locations to spot various species of marine mammals in their natural habitat. Wait in anticipation of spotting a distant breach, or a jump that announces the arrival of a pod of dolphins.
Approach the aquatic mammals by boat (In full compliance with the directives aimed at not causing disturbance to the inhabitants) and catch amazing sights of them frolicking in their natural habitat.

The excursion may be canceled one day before in case of bad weather or sea conditions.
As this excursion takes place in a natural habitat sightings of whale species cannot be guaranteed.
The experience of the crew and scientific staff allows a chance of seeing cetaceans (fin whale, sperm whale, Cuvier’s beaked whale, Risso’s dolphin, long-finned pilot whale, striped dolphin, bottlenose dolphin and short-beaked common dolphin) statistically equal to 95%.
IN CASE OF NO SPOT, POSSIBILITY TO RETURN FOR FREE WITHIN 1 YEAR FROM THE DATE OF THE EXCURSION (by making a new reservation on the company's website and handing over the original ticket for the date of non-sighting at the boarding gate)!
Bar service is available on board.
Please show up 30 minutes before departure under the stilt house next to the restaurant "Il Pesce Pazzo" (at the beginning of the Marina di Varazze, next to the ATM) to collect the paper ticket (mandatory rule required by Italian law). Our staff is present on site only on the days of the excursions.
