Experience the beauty of Kyoto's cherry blossoms on a guided tour from Osaka. Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, Keage Incline, Bishamondo Temple, and Kiyomizu-dera.
Start your day with a scenic drive from Osaka to Kyoto. Upon arrival, head to Fushimi Jikkokubune, a traditional sightseeing boat that travels along the historic canals of the Fushimi area. In spring, cherry blossoms line the waterways, reflecting beautifully on the surface and offering a relaxed way to experience Kyoto’s historic riverside scenery. The Fushimi Jikkokubune boat ride is not included in the tour. Guests may choose to join the boat experience at their own expense: JPY 1,900 per adult / JPY 900 per child.

Next, visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, one of Kyoto’s most iconic shrines, famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates. The gates form a striking pathway through the forested hillside, offering a unique blend of spiritual atmosphere and scenic beauty.

Continue to Keage Incline, a historic railway slope originally used to transport boats. Today, it has become a popular walking path, especially in spring when cherry blossoms bloom along the old tracks, creating a distinctive fusion of history and seasonal scenery.

Then, visit Bishamondo Temple, a tranquil temple known for its seasonal scenery. In spring, cherry blossoms enhance the temple grounds, complementing the stone steps, gardens, and traditional architecture, and creating a peaceful and refined atmosphere.

Next, head to Yamashina Canal, part of the historic Lake Biwa Canal system. During cherry blossom season, the canal paths are lined with blooming trees, stone bridges, and flowing water, offering a calm and picturesque spring atmosphere unique to Kyoto.

Finally, visit Kiyomizu-dera, one of Kyoto’s most famous UNESCO World Heritage sites, located on the hills of eastern Kyoto. In spring, cherry blossoms surround the temple, and the main hall offers panoramic views of the city, making it a classic destination combining history, spirituality, and scenery.
