In the afternoon, join a foraging course led by an agronomist, where you’ll learn how to identify edible plants, wild herbs, and seasonal foods growing in the area. The course includes both practical tips and broader insight into the park’s natural ecosystems. It’s a slow-paced, hands-on experience that connects you more deeply with the landscape around you.

Comfortable shoes are recommended, although the terrain is only gravel and grass.
Binoculars are also convenient to have, but we have several to provide.
Meet at the main entrance of the Maksimir Park, next to the Ice Cream stand. Your host will have a Science Tours sign.
