Create your own 108-bead Mala from start to finish. Learn about Rudraksha and gemstones, and choose the beads that speak to you. The workshop concludes with a traditional Balinese blessing.
In the yogic tradition, Rudraksha are considered the "Tears of Shiva" and are much more than a piece of jewellery-they are regarded as an instrument for spiritual transformation.
Creating your own Mala is an extraordinary experience in Bali, made so by the potency and divine energy of the Rudraksha seeds.
Like a Rosary, a spiritual Rudraksha Mala consists of 108 beads and is used for prayer and meditation. In the Hindu tradition, it is believed that those who wear Rudraksha receive the blessings of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. Rudraksha beads are also believed to absorb and amplify positive energies.
During this 2-hour workshop, you'll be introduced to the significance of Rudraksha and the use of the Mala in yogic tradition, choose your own Rudraksha beads and gemstones, handcraft your Sacred Mala, and complete the experience with a personal blessing and activation by a Balinese priest.
