July and August are especially busy. Book early and choose an earlier entry time (around 7:00 AM) to avoid the busiest periods.

The park ticket is valid for 4 days. For all three options, we recommend entering from the East Gate (Wulingyuan) on your first day.

Option 1: Park Pass (Unlimited Cable Cars & Bailong Elevator)
Unlimited rides on the park’s cable cars and Bailong Elevator during the 4-day ticket validity period.
Best for: multi-day visits or flexible route planning.

Option 2: Park Admission + 1 Bailong Elevator Ride + 1 Tianzi Mountain Cable Car Ride
Best for: one-day visitors. Enter via East Gate (Wulingyuan).

Line B (Recommended route ):
Bailong Elevator up → Yuanjiajie (Avatar Hallelujah Mountain, First Bridge Under Heaven) → Tianzi Mountain (Yubi Peak and sea of clouds viewpoints) → Tianzi Mountain Cable Car down.

Line A: the same route in reverse. It usually has shorter waiting times and fewer visitors.

Option 3: Park Admission Only
Buy cable car and Bailong Elevator tickets separately on site according to your preferred route.
Best for: visitors who want maximum flexibility.

Multi-Day Visit
For a multi-day visit, tell us your preferred entry dates and times in advance. We’ll arrange the reservations and suggest suitable routes based on your travel plan.

Suggested Routes:

South Gate: Huangshizhai & Golden Whip Stream
Getting there: about 50 minutes by car from Wulingyuan or Zhangjiajie downtown.
Route: Huangshizhai mountaintop sightseeing (cable car available for both directions) → Golden Whip Stream gorge trail.
The full Golden Whip Stream trail is about 5.7 km and ends near the lower station of Bailong Elevator.
You can either walk the highlights and return to South Gate, or complete the full trail and take the shuttle bus to East Gate (Wulingyuan).

Air Pastoral (Sky Field Garden)
Duration & Cost: Approximately 2 hours round trip. An electric cart is required (64 RMB/person, round trip, pay on site).
Getting There: Reach Sanchakou Station (三岔路口站), located midway along Line B, accessible by shuttle bus. From there, take the electric cart to Air Pastoral.
Route: The cart stops briefly at a mountaintop rice terrace — a great photo spot — then continues to the route's end, with sweeping views over Air Pastoral and the sandstone peaks beyond. A 15-minute downhill walk from there reaches two secluded viewpoints, Heavenly Troops Gathering (神兵聚会) and Parade Viewing Platform (阅兵台), both offering unobstructed, crowd-free views of th peak forest with the Bailong Elevator in the distance. Retrace your steps and cart back to Sanchakou Station.
