Do you like adventure? On this hiking route through Laguna Churup we will enjoy a walk through the Huascarán Natural Park, full of the most inspiring landscapes. It will be worth the effort!
We will pick you up at the agreed place in Huaraz at 7:00 a.m. We will travel in a comfortable vehicle through typical Andean towns until we reach Pitec, 3850 meters above sea level.
From here, we will contemplate impressive views of some of the most important snow-capped peaks of the Huascarán National Park, such as Vallunaraju, Ocshapalca, Ranrapalca, Rimarima, San Juan or Churup, our next destination.
We will begin the hiking route along the ridge that leaves Pitec. During the walk, we will go through some very steep sections, in which we will have to use ropes to help us climb. But don't worry! The guide will help us on this two-hour route.
We will reach the Churup lagoon, located at the foot of the snowy mountain of the same name, where you will have free time to enjoy its views and rest in its surroundings. With our batteries charged, we will begin the walk back to Pitec, where the minibus will be waiting to take us to Huaraz.
We will end the excursion at approximately 4:00 p.m.
