This guided day trip blends scenic travel with cultural immersion, offering a deep dive into the region’s ancient heritage and vibrant traditions.

Begin your day with a hotel pickup in Puno at 7:40 AM and set off promptly at 8:00 AM. Your first stop is the Temple of Fertility (Inca Uyo), renowned for its ancient stone sculptures and ceremonial history. Next, visit the archaeological complex of Molloco, where the fusion of Inca and Lupaca cultures is still visible in the ruins.

Continue to the Waru Waru fields, where you’ll learn about ingenious pre-Inca farming techniques that have sustained communities for centuries. The journey then takes you to the mystical Portal of Aramu Muru, a monolithic stone altar surrounded by striking landscapes and local legends.

Enjoy a break at a countryside restaurant in Juli, where you can choose from a menu of traditional Andean dishes (lunch not included). Afterwards, sample freshly baked biscochuelos—a local sponge cake—at a traditional bakery.

The route continues to Pomata, home to historic churches and panoramic lake views, and then to Inca Kamaña, a mysterious site believed to have been a royal resting place. At the Kasani border, you’ll receive assistance with Peruvian exit procedures.
