Discover Madeira by Jeep on back roads, less-traveled paths and stunning landscapes, on a trip to Santana where the journey is just as special as the destination.
Discover a different side of Madeira on a Jeep trip to Santana, where the journey itself is part of the experience.
Leave the busier roads behind and take back roads and less-traveled paths, passing through small villages and mountain areas where you can still experience a quieter and more authentic side of the island. Along the way, enjoy different views of Madeira's landscape, with selected stops to take in the surroundings and snap some photos.
The adventure takes on a different character when the Jeep leaves the tarmac and heads onto off-road trails, offering a different way to explore the interior of Madeira, among vegetation, mountains and landscapes that change along the way.
As we approach the north coast, discover some of the most striking landscapes in this region, where the mountains meet the Atlantic. The journey continues to Santana, known for its traditional thatched houses and for preserving a strong connection to Madeiran traditions and identity.
More than just a visit to Santana, Backroads to Santana is designed for those who want to discover Madeira along the way: with time to observe, explore and enjoy places that are often overlooked on more conventional tourist routes.
