Set sail on a 4.5-hour whale watching experience along Tenerife’s spectacular southwest coast, combining encounters with marine wildlife, the dramatic scenery of Los Gigantes and a swimming stop in Masca Bay.

Leaving Puerto Colón behind, the Royal Delfin heads into the protected waters between Tenerife and La Gomera, one of Europe’s most important areas for observing cetaceans in the wild.

These waters are home to resident pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins throughout the year and are also part of a migratory route used by many other cetacean species. Every trip is different, and along the way you may also encounter sea turtles, ocean birds and other marine life that form part of this remarkable Atlantic ecosystem.

Our experienced crew will be there throughout the journey, while our multilingual guides share their knowledge about the species you encounter, their behaviour and the natural environment surrounding you.

The journey continues along Tenerife’s west coast towards the impressive Cliffs of Los Gigantes, rising dramatically from the Atlantic, before reaching Masca Bay.

Here, surrounded by Tenerife’s volcanic landscape, we stop to give you time to swim and enjoy the ocean. A complimentary meal is served during the excursion, and a selection of drinks is included throughout the entire journey.

There is also another world to discover beneath your feet. The Royal Delfin’s unique underwater viewing area, with large panoramic windows below sea level, offers a completely different perspective on the Atlantic and the marine life beneath the surface.

Throughout the excursion, whale and dolphin watching is carried out responsibly, respecting the animals, their space and their natural behaviour.

You will also find a bar on board offering additional drinks and snacks, together with a selection of souvenirs, local products and items made by local artisans.
