On your way ella, there are three places you can visit.
One is lake gregory. it's a significant tourist attraction in nuwara eliya. It was created during the period of British Governor Sir William Gregory in 1872 - 1877 utilizing the water from the nanuoya which runs across the town. it's about 91.2 hectars in extent. It was said to be used for water sports and for recreational activities during the tour.

Another is seethaamman temple. It's 83 km away from nuwara eliya. According to the epic, after Sita was abducted by King Ravana of Lanka, she was brought to this location.

third is single tree hill. It's about to 2100 meters ( 6890 feet ), makning it of sri lanka's higher peaks. A popular hikning spot (approx. 90 mins to summit) and a prime vantage point for stunning sunrise views. It's offers views of nuwara eliya town, pidrutalagala, hakgala range, greogory lake, adam's peak, and hortons plains
