When booking your tour, you can choose your preferred vehicle, a car or a three-wheeled vehicle (tuk). The vehicle you choose will take you from Kandy to Nanuoya Railway Station. See whether to book a Tuk or a Car
The morning train departs from Nanu Oya railway station at 9 am. If you are going on that train, you should leave Kandy at 5 am.
The afternoon train departs from Nanu Oya railway station at 2.30 pm. If you are going on this train, it is advisable to depart from Kandy at 7.30 am. On the way from Kandy to Nanu Oya, you can see waterfalls, tea factories, tea estates and beautiful places in Nuwara Eliya town.
During the morning train journey, you can visit various places from the viewing points.
The morning train runs every day. The afternoon train does not run only on Wednesdays. If you want to travel on Wednesdays, choose the morning train.
During the train journey, you can get off at Pattipola, Ohiya, Idalgashinna, Bandarawela, Ella, Demodara and Badulla railway stations.
