Begin your day with a private sunrise experience in Negombo, combining a tuk-tuk transfer, a scenic boat safari on Negombo Lagoon, local fishing culture, mangrove wildlife, Monkey Island, and a fresh Sri Lankan king coconut.
Get picked up from your hotel or accommodation in Negombo by private tuk-tuk in the early morning and taken to the lagoon. After arriving at the boat, begin a peaceful sunrise cruise through the lagoon while the area is still quiet and local fishermen are beginning their daily activities.
During the boat safari, observe traditional fishing activities and see local fishermen preparing nets and working on the lagoon. Continue through scenic lagoon areas and mangrove surroundings where you may spot different species of birds, water monitors, and other wildlife.
Visit Monkey Island, where you can observe monkeys in their natural surroundings. Do not approach or touch the animals, and only feed them if permitted and supervised by the local guide.
