Experience the stunning view of the chagga villages on the footsteps of mount Kilimanjaro. The materuni water fall is one of the biggest water fall with height of 150m it is considered the highest water fall from slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro. This day trip that allows you to be prepared for a Kilimanjaro hike. LAKE CHALA
Explore the beauty of nature Lake Chala has to offer. Lake Chala is a crater lake formed 250,000 years ago The lake straddles the boarder between Kenya and Tanzania. It is one of the deepest lake with 98mt but only 4,2 square km wide, despite its not wide size it’s the deepest lake unlike any other lake. Its water comes from the ground water from Mount Kilimanjaro. Also the surrounding savanna is part of the protected area and allows relaxed hikes with chances of spotting baboons, monkeys, gazelles and snakes. After a beautiful hike and learning different varieties of animal species and plant lastly you could go for kayaking around the lake to enjoy the beautiful scenarios of the lake have lunch and get back to the hotel
