Begin in Wuzhen Dongzha, a historic town of canals, stone bridges, traditional residences and narrow waterfront lanes. Follow your guide through the scenic area and see some of its cultural highlights, including the Jiangnan Woodcarving Museum, Mao Dun’s Former Residence, Hanlin Academy and the Jiangnan Hundred Beds Hall.
After some free time in Wuzhen, meet your group and continue to Xitang Ancient Town. Walk along its old waterways, traditional streets and riverside buildings while learning about the town’s history and its connection to ancient Wu-Yue culture.
As evening arrives, Xitang takes on a completely different atmosphere. Lanterns and warm lights reflect across the canals, bringing the day to a memorable close.
