Opis

Hit the sand in our 4x4 cars as we explore Moreton Island's must see spots from Tangalooma Wrecks to Champagne Pools. With ocean-front camping, beach games and a movie under the stars.
Spend two days exploring Moreton Island/Mulgumpin by 4x4, with sand under your feet, the ocean as the backdrop, swims between adventures and plenty of time to get to know the people along for the ride.

We’ll meet at the Moreton Island Adventures ferry terminal in Brisbane early on day one and head across Moreton Bay together. Once on the island, you can share the driving in our company 4x4s as part of a guided convoy, or settle into the passenger seat and take it all in. No need to bring your own vehicle or camping gear, we’ve got that sorted.

There’s plenty packed into the trip. On day one you'll arrive and set up camp and get to know everyone over breakfast before following beach routes and winding inland tracks to Cape Moreton Lighthouse, where you can look for turtles, dolphins and migrating whales at the closest point you can get to the Humpback whale migratory corridor in Australia. After watching the marine life, head to the northern part of the island to explore Honeymoon Bay, and spend time at Champagne Pools, with time for a dip, some sunbathing or beach games.

Back at our private beachfront campsite, everyone gets involved. Put up your tents, cook dinner together as the sun sets over the ocean and settle in for an evening of fun. Listen to music and play games by the campfire (BYO alcohol is welcomed when consumed responsibly). Or if you prefer to unwind after the jam packed day, cosy up with your camp-mates at our outdoor cinema for a movie beneath the stars.

After another slap up breakfast and a chill morning around camp, day two is spent at the Tangalooma Wrecks site. Take a close look around the sunken shipwrecks for tropical fish, octopi and even beautiful coral-colored wobbegong sharks during the snorkelling session. Then back on land join a game of beach volleyball or find a spot on the sand and relax. We’ll have lunch together by the beach before catching the ferry back to the mainland.

Our trips are for adventurers aged 18–35, whether you’re coming solo or bringing friends. Sharing vehicles, meals and camp life makes getting to know everyone feel easy.

Return ferry crossings, 4x4s, fuel, guides, permits, campsite fees, camping and sleeping equipment (your choice of personal or shared tents), food, drinking water and activity gear are included. Just bring your personal essentials and a little flexibility: tides, weather and island conditions help shape the route each day.
