In the afternoon, return to Shanghai to visit Yuyuan Garden, a classic 400-year-old Chinese garden featuring elegant pavilions and traditional architecture. Note: Yuyuan Garden is closed on Mondays and will be replaced with a visit to Jade Buddha Temple.
Walk along the Bund to take in Shanghai’s iconic skyline, featuring landmarks like the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, and historic colonial buildings along the Huangpu River.
Ascend to the observatory of Shanghai Tower (632 meters), the tallest building in China, for 360-degree panoramic views of the city.
