Lille: Guided Walking Tour of The City's History

Meet your guide at the Statue Général Faidherbe and set off on a walking tour of Lille. Begin with a visit to the Citadelle de Lille, a massive fortress constructed after the victory of Louis XIV over the Spanish when Lille was annexed by France in 1667. Next, head to the Jardin Vauban, one of the oldest public parks in Lille, created in 1863. Its style resembles that of an English garden.
