Tour of Petrópolis with visits to the Imperial Museum, São Pedro de Alcântara Cathedral, Santos Dumont House and Crystal Palace. Includes entrance and lunch at an open buffet.
The suggested itinerary for the Petrópolis Imperial City tour is:

Check out the Imperial Museum of Petrópolis. The Imperial Palace of Petrópolis, now the IMPERIAL MUSEUM, was the favorite residence of Emperor Dom Pedro II and the setting for the best moments of the monarch's life, as he himself recorded in correspondence addressed to various people. Pedro II himself ordered its construction, which began in 1845 and was completed in 1862. Admission is included

Visit to the Cathedral of São Pedro de Alcântara; it was especially inspired by the ancient cathedrals of northern France dedicated to São Pedro de Alcântara, patron saint of the city of Petrópolis, Brazil, and the Brazilian Monarchy. It houses the Imperial Mausoleum, which contains the remains of Emperor Pedro II of Brazil, his wife, Empress Teresa Cristina Maria de Bourbon, their daughter, Isabel de Bragança, Imperial Princess of Brazil, and Gastão de Orléans, Count of Eu and Imperial Prince Consort of Brazil, as well as the tombs of Prince Pedro de Alcântara de Orléans e Bragança and his wife, Elisabeth Maria Adelaide Dobrzensky de Dobrzenicz. Interestingly, the person responsible for the construction was the engineer Heitor da Silva Costa, the same one who built Christ the Redeemer.

Visit the house of Santos Dumont; it was the summer residence of Alberto Santos Dumont, the Father of Aviation, and is known as "A Encantada". The museum has a collection of objects, books, letters, and furniture that belonged to the inventor, as well as the shower and the entrance staircase, with steps that can only be accessed starting with the right foot. (ticket included)

Visit to the Crystal Palace; its precast cast iron structure was commissioned from a French foundry by Count D'Eu, and assembled in Petrópolis by engineer Eduardo Bonjean. It was inaugurated in 1884 to house the already traditional exhibitions of vegetables and birds from the region, which used to take place in temporary facilities on the site. At the Palace, in April 1888, the last slaves of Petrópolis were freed in a beautiful party attended by Princess Isabel.

Stroll through the shops on Rua Tereza; a traditional shopping center, with clothes for all styles and budgets. Great prices. Variety and convenience since the stores are all along the street. Restaurants and snacks right on the street, because it's almost impossible to stop to eat. It seems like there's always a store missing. The street also offers a clean bathroom, water, and a TV room for rest, and believe me, you'll need it. Sofas along the way also make shopping more enjoyable.

Chocolate factory shop; a quick stop for a coffee, we visited the traditional factory and its delicious offer of incredible chocolates.
