Coffee Route: Workshop, Tasting, and Trekking in the Farallones de Cali

Connect with the traditions of the Colombian countryside in From Plant to Cup, an experience of rural immersion and trekking in the majesty of the Western Cordillera, in the buffer zone of the Farallones de Cali National Natural Park.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cali and head towards the mountain. Upon arrival at the starting point, we'll begin an approximately 40-minute uphill trek along country trails until we reach an authentic rural farmhouse. There, we'll welcome you with a refreshing natural juice made from local fruits to refill your tank.

Next, you'll take part in a hands-on and interactive workshop where you'll learn about the artisanal coffee process. You won't be a mere spectator: you'll take part in the stages of harvesting and traditional grinding, and you'll finish with a tasting to recognize the unique notes of mountain coffee. As a special touch, you'll take home a complimentary bag of artisan coffee as a souvenir of this day.

At noon, we'll enjoy a typical traditional lunch prepared in a country kitchen with local seasonings. Finally, we'll take a tour of the property's trails surrounded by fruit trees, where you'll learn about seasonal crops and taste freshly harvested fruits.
After completing the descent on foot (40 minutes), we will take the transportation back to your hotel in Cali.
