The Barranquilla Carnival is the only celebration in the Greater Caribbean declared a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
2026 has arrived, and we are ready to celebrate the biggest party in the Colombian Caribbean... highlighting the traditions, music, and joy of our land.
The carnival has 3 main parades: The Battle of Flowers, the Grand Tradition Parade, and the Fantasy Parade.
Each parade takes place on a specific day on the main street of the city of Barranquilla, known as Cumbiódromo or Vía 40.
You can choose any of the 3 days of Carnival to enjoy this wonderful experience.
Day 1: Inaugural Saturday - February 14:
Overview at the hotel regarding the upcoming three days. At 10:30 a.m., we will proceed to stroll from the hotel to the Cumbiodromo on Via 40 to witness La Batalla de Flores. It is an impressive procession featuring elaborately decorated floats led by the Carnival Queen, accompanied by folk ensembles, individuals adorned in vibrant costumes, cumbiambas, and carnival troupes with a history dating back to 1903. The parade is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Day 2: Carnival Sunday - February 15:
At 11:00 a.m., we will collect you from the hotel to transport you to the Cumbiodromo for the Grand Traditional Parade, where the ambiance is infused with tradition and folklore, creating a magnificent spectacle. Cumbiambas, Congos Dancers, Negros, Garabatos, and other traditional Carnival groups will elegantly march in precise order, showcasing their brilliance and vibrancy. This procession pays homage to the rich carnival tradition and the distinctive dances of the Colombian Caribbean. The parade is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Day 3: Carnival Monday - February 16:
At midday, we will retrieve you from your hotel and head to the grandstands to witness the Fantasy Parade spectacle. During this event, both children and adults from traditional Carnival groups captivate the streets, presenting remarkable costumes brimming with imagination. Approximately 50 dance groups and dance schools will commandeer the main thoroughfare, transforming it into a vibrant dance floor adorned with lively choreography and vivid costumes. The parade is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

No food or beverages are allowed in the box: chuzos, soups, water, beer, soft drinks can be purchased inside the box.
Location: The boxes are like grandstands but do not have numbered seats, therefore the location depends on the client. If you decide to stand in the front, you will have a great view, but it will be very sunny, if you stand in the back you will have more shade.
Transport: the rates correspond to the availability of the vehicle on the day of the carnival, as we do not do point to point transfers on those dates.
In the event that clients arrive or go directly to the airport on that day, an extra fee applies, as the airport is outside the city.
Children: Children over 7 years old can be brought and the same rate applies.
Toilet facilities are available in the boxes.
