Start your adventure with a pick-up from your accommodation, or at the ports of Taino Bay and Amber Cove, and get ready for a day full of emotions, nature, and culture in Puerto Plata.
The experience kicks off with an ATV (quad) ride. After a safety briefing, you'll drive your own off-road vehicle along rural roads, mud puddles, and trails surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. It's the perfect time to enjoy the adrenaline and authentic landscapes of the Dominican Republic.
Then, you'll change gears to enjoy a horseback ride guided by local experts. You'll ride along natural trails where you can admire the local flora and unwind with the peaceful surroundings and cool breeze. It's an activity suitable for all experience levels.
Later, you'll continue the adventure to the historic center on a guided city tour of Puerto Plata, where you'll discover the best of its culture and architecture. You'll stroll along the famous Calle de las Sombrillas and the colorful Calle Rosada (Paseo de Doña Blanca), admiring the Victorian houses that characterize the city. You'll also visit the Malecón with its views of the Atlantic and take an exterior tour of the iconic San Felipe Fortress.
The tour also includes admission to the Ron Macorix Museum, where you can learn about its history and enjoy a tasting if available.
