Join an Emmy award-winning TV writer Jim Vallely and best-selling author Maggie Rowe for a unique writing workshop in Los Angeles. Sit in a poolside cabana at Jim and Maggie's home and learn how to court the creative muse, face the blank page, and conquer writer's block.
Discuss the elements that make a great beginning, share some of your favorite beginnings, and discuss why they work. Then, Maggie and Jim will pick one script from the group (it might be yours!) and workshop the beginning just like you would in a TV writers room.
Afterward, enjoy tea from the garden and coffee and pastries from a local coffee shop.
