We will meet in front of Helsinki Central Station and begin a relaxed 2-hour walking tour that combines Helsinki’s most famous landmarks with hidden local spots.
Suggested itinerary:
• Helsinki Central Station and city introduction (10 minutes)
• Senate Square and Helsinki Cathedral (20 minutes)
• Market Square and the waterfront area (20 minutes)
• Esplanadi Park and local city life (15 minutes)
• Hidden streets, local architecture, and lesser-known sights (30 minutes)
• Oodi Library or another selected local highlight (15 minutes)
• Questions, recommendations, and photo opportunities (10 minutes)
The itinerary can be adjusted according to your interests and walking pace. Depending on your preferences, we can focus more on architecture, Finnish culture, local lifestyle, seaside areas, parks, or hidden gems. The tour will always include the main highlights listed above.
Throughout the tour, I will share stories about Helsinki, Finnish culture, and everyday life, as well as provide local recommendations for restaurants, saunas, attractions, and activities.
I am also happy to take photos of you during the tour so you can take home memorable pictures from your visit.
I have worked in Zurich for 11 years, so the tour is also available in German if requested.

Meet your guide in front of the main entrance of Helsinki Central Station, under the large clock above the doors, near the Forex currency exchange inside the station. This iconic landmark is easy to find. Your guide will be easy to recognize and will contact you before the tour if needed.
