We’ll start our stroll at the red-tinted Place Bellecour (the heart of the city) before crossing the Saône River, to enter the UNESCO Old Town. As we wander through the cobblestone streets of the Renaissance district, I’ll show you the "traboules" those secret, hidden passageways that most people walk right past without noticing.
Along the way, we’ll stop by the stunning Saint-Jean Cathedral and I’ll share stories of the silk weavers and characters who made Lyon famous. Of course, we can't talk about Lyon without talking about food! I’ll give you the real "insider" scoop on our famous Bouchons Lyonnais, what to order (praline tart, anyone?), and which tourist traps to avoid.
