Under it, quieter: sandals on stone, a low murmur of prayer from someone ahead of you in line, occasionally a rooster somewhere outside the temple walls.

See grey stone, worn smooth in places from centuries of hands and feet. Moss in the cracks. A line of people in sarongs, mostly dark blue or black for the water portion, moving slowly from spout to spout.
