And behind this pretty backdrop lies a history that spans from the medieval imperial city to Nazi propaganda to destruction and reconstruction.

On our walking tour, we'll explore Nuremberg from all angles. We'll take a look at famous landmarks and special corners, stop at beautiful photo spots, and keep taking a look at the stories behind the places:

- How did people live in medieval Nuremberg?
- Why was the city so important as a center of trade, crafts, and as an imperial city?
- How and why was it later used for National Socialist propaganda?

On a leisurely walk, we will immerse ourselves together in the varied history of Nuremberg. In addition to a little journey through time, there will also be plenty of time to simply enjoy the city. You can take photos, stroll through the lanes, discover special details, or take a break to have a coffee, eat something sweet, and catch your breath for a moment.

To round things off, we'll head up to Nuremberg Castle. From up there, you'll have a sweeping view over the Old Town and can experience Nuremberg once again from a different perspective.

We meet at the Hauptmarkt right next to the Kaspar Schmauser restaurant (Hauptmarkt 16). You'll easily recognize me by my yellow umbrella, even when the sun is shining. Please arrive at the meeting point about 5–10 minutes before the start so that we can begin on time.
