Perched on a hillside above Hersonissos and surrounded by mountains, Acqua Plus is unlike any other water park in Greece. Spread across 67,000 square meters of landscaped gardens, this is a water park that feels more like a tropical garden with 50 slides hidden inside it.

For thrill-seekers, the adrenaline section is where the park earns its reputation. Drop from 15 meters down the four twisting chutes of Extreme Kamikaze and Tornado. Race your family side by side on the Racers. Test your nerve on the Tsunami. Fly through the darkness of the Black Holes, take on the Aqua Slalom, or launch yourself down the 80-meter hydrotube. With 34 slides built for adults, there is no shortage of ways to get your heart racing.

The children's section is a world of its own. A 1,200-square-meter pool with a safe maximum depth of 120 cm sits at its center, surrounded by 15 gentle rides designed specifically for little ones. There's an inflatable castle, dedicated play areas for under-7s, a bouncy trampoline, temporary tattoos, and a fish spa. Parents can watch from the poolside jacuzzi while the kids run wild.

Float the 270-meter Lazy River with nothing to do but drift. Swim laps in the main pool. Sink into the hydromassage pool. Claim a sunbed under an umbrella and let the day unfold at your own pace.

Acqua Plus was the first water park in the Balkans and has spent two decades perfecting the experience. It was the first in Crete to introduce cashless waterproof wristbands, so you never carry a wallet around the park. Its queue management system means less time waiting in line and more time on the slides. Qualified lifeguards are stationed throughout the park and a doctor is on standby all day. The park holds a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence and welcomes over 100,000 visitors every year.

Choose the transfer option and travel to the park by coach from one of 40 designated pickup points across Crete — no car rental, no taxi fares, no navigating unfamiliar roads. You'll be returned to the same pickup point at the end of the day. Select your preferred location when booking. Or book the entry ticket alone and make your own way to the park, located 5 km from Hersonissos and 30 km from Heraklion.
